CBS12 Investigates discovered 15 cases in 2015 involving electronic cigarettes exploding, catching fire, and/or causing serious injuries
Thirteen cases resulted in injuries, of those eight were severe.
Only two months into 2016, we have found several cases.
In Indiana, a semi-truck driver crashes when his e-cig blows up in his face.
In Dallas, a man suffers third degree burns when an e-cig battery catches fire in his pocket.
In New Hampshire, surveillance video shows an e-cigarette explode in a man's pants.
