You know, at least with the IRA they often phoned in the threats so that the areas could be cleared before the bombs went off... unless they were specifically targetting individuals (like judges), and even then, they tried to minimize civilian casaulties. These people purposely board buses full of women and children to blow them up.

The IRA and the baskian organisation sometimes phone/phoned in a couple of minutes before hand, they don't do this to prevent deaths, they do it to maximise deaths, and to terrorise the police.

1) when the police gets to the scene in time, they don't know where exactly the bomb is, so when they tell the crowd to head to a certain direction, it could be straight into the bomb, which is what happened in northern ireland on black friday iirc a couple of years back. Or the people will just start panic, run into the street, and get wounded by glass flying around.

2) secondly, they do it to terrorise the police, because then the cops know something will happen really soon, and they will get there too late, this can give some people serious mental problems, they know they could have prevented it, but they were too slow.

don't even think about assuming they did it to minimise deaths.

And if Israel started dropping bombs on military targets and went East to capture terrorists Israel would be thought of the one that was wrong! That's so messed up.

Well, there are some that give out misinformation, but from a comment made by a panelist on Talk Back Live when the 9/11 happened, i'd rather take his word than yours, since we all know how full of sh1t you are.

If I can ask a question, how come there are no Israeli suicide bombers? Do you think if Israel starting doing the same thing to them, anything would change?

I must say, it would really suck to just go to the mall and have to worry about getting blown to pieces.

I think they should stop all the petty suicide bombing, and sniper assassinations and just go to war. Be done with it. I know that sounds sorta harsh.
