HI,
Like the title says i have been having explorer.exe problems here is the main problem
This error has happened several times and today it did the same error with different errors numbers, I am currently running Windows XP PRO SP2 with a clean install as of Last Monday.
Some of the symptoms are: When i booted up my PC I had to log out of my account and re-log in in order to see my desktop. I did try to restart Explorer.exe from the Task Manager but no luck there either
I think i have an idea of what my problem could be but before i do anything i wanted to ask if anybody had an idea as to what is wrong with my system.
Thanks in advance
P.S. i Hope i am posting in the right section
-----Edit-----
Tryed using CHKDSK and it said that it could not find AUTOCHK.EXE and that it could not find it on the HD or the DISK which i though was weird. But yet when i looked for it on the disk it was there and the same for the HD
----Edit 2 -----
I ran SeaTools and it said that the drive itself was fine but it said the File system itself "Failed with Critical Errors".
---- Edit 3 ------
I posted this on another sectiion of this forum and was told to post it here. Again any Help would be appreciated.
