I would do a search but I'm not entirely sure what to search for on this subject. Anyway, most of you guys know all about the external SCSI hard drive enclosure, which takes a certain number of internal SCSI drives and connects them to the computer via the external SCSI connection on the controller. Well I was wondering if I could buy the same thing but for use with IDE drives. I've got a total of 7 IDE drives plus one SCSI for booting and it's getting REALLY cramped in the comp and airflow is dying on me. So where could I buy an external IDE hdd enclosure and how would I connect it to the computer? I have an Adaptec 29160 SCSI controller, which has an external SCSI port, so maybe that'll be of use, who knows.
Anyway, I appreciate any help here, it's getting really annoying being so cramped!
