Extreme newbie DVD player menu settings help

On the DVD player setup menu what should the following be set as?

SPDIF= off/raw/pcm

Display= P&S/LBX (have 4:3 TV and would assume LBX but both appear the same so just wanted to confirm it is as I'm expecting)

Angles= On/Off (do I need to select on so that DVDs that offer this feature will be able to use it or is this something that will activate some annoying icon to let me know when they do?)

Component= CVBS/YUV (both look the same so is one preferred?)

SPDIF - Should be raw if you're outputting to a receiver that supports dolby digital and DTS.

Display = Pan and Scan and Letter Box would probably be the same for a 4:3 TV.

Angles On would normally show an icon when an alternate angle is available.

Component - YUV is another way of saying Component Video. CVBS is supposed to mean the use of composite cables. Poor terminology for the DVD player to use IMO.

On the Angles setting, if I set it to off would that still allow one to use angles if available but just disable the player from automatically displaying an icon or disable the feature altogether?
