the site seems shady, I added the camera to my shopping cart and went to the checkout page to where you enter your address and credit info, and the page has no secure encryption whatsoever, there was no lock in internet explorer. So I would advise against purchasing from them.

i don't recommend buying digicam from low-price merchants, you are likely end up with a gray marcket product. they will probably try to sell you expensive accessories.

Heres a quote from resellerratings.com "Buyer beware. they offer a very low price on Camera's however they are not camera's for US distribution. i called to purchase a Sony DCS F707 which they had for $150 less than anyone. the make you buy a warrany otherwise it comes with none (warranty was $150-299). this camera should have a 1yr warranty from Sony,however since its not a US camera Sony would not offer any warranty. IF the company pulls these kinda tactics to sell it makes you wonder how good they warranty would be

Use those prices and price match at Sears.com. Yes Sears will PM those lowball digicam prices on the Sony 707. Check out the sony talk forums at dpreview.com. Save hassle by emailing Sears.com people with your info, the website with the low price etc. They will respond in a day or 2 with an approval number for your order. Then you can have it shipped or pickup at a local Sears store. Great cam, fantastic price and a reputable merchant.

FFactory0x-- I reccomend the 4040 but the 720 I hear has some abberation problems sometimes cause it is pushing the Optical Zoom/ MP limitations and you get a purple haze. to me the 707 is too much to lug around I tried it on July 4th with a friends. kinda clunky IMHO. It takes fabulous shots though I saw a 18X12 photo printed of his dog and it looked great. but since I do not have access to a printer like that 4MP is enough for me.

those are grey market /imported/not for USA cameras. 0 (zero) days warranty, unless you buy extended from them and by them (same zero) for $200+.
You won't be able to get the cam without it or without some overpriced accessories. compare their prices to other stores 4 accessories.
AMEX won't PM to grey market cameras.

I work at best buy and was pricing some of the digital cameras. the cost to best buy is roughly 25% lower than the retail price thus making the employee discount about 20% off. the discount on the psp (best buy's "warranty") is insanely good. only get it if you can buy it at the employee price. it's like 80% off.

Also try OfficeMax (if they have that camera), I PMed one of the grey market internet store prices a month ago without a hiccup, I saved about $160 bucks.
