extremely slow WU times?

hey
i put together my old k6-2 400 for my girlfriend to use.
i used to have it running just seti for a while and it would do a WU in about 22 hrs
i cloned her hdd on to the one i gave her, now when i run seti on that machine it says 65 days to complete a unit?
whats up with that? i thought it was mixing our different RAM, but that wasnt it.
i just told her to backup everything and i will reformat.
but instead of doing that yet, does anyone have any possible idea what could be wrong?
there is a conflict b/w the pci bus and "motherboard resources" that i cant figure out how to fix
could that be the problem?
any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

What OS are you running? Win98?

You could get Wintop (Click Me) and see if something is chewing up the CPU resources....

You may just have a bad install of SETI or bad WU....I had one of those and finally deleted the whole SETIDriver directory, reinstalled it and downloaded new WU's...and all went well....

A few things to try......let us know and we'll try again if this didn't help!

What's the angle range for that WU? If it's a low angle range (.001), that might explain why it's taking so longer to process.

i cant really remember the AR but i did look at that
i wanna say it was 7.x or something
mabye i was looking at the RA
but anyways yeah shes running 98
i will use that program and try reinstalling

Sounds like a duff WU of corrupted installation to me ,even with a VLAR WU it shouldn't take longer than about 33hrs/WU
