What is notable is that this isn't a subpoena for documents that Cohen can put off. Nope, this is a full-on Manafort raid and we see how well that's going for him.

I'd argue that this is even more serious for Cohen because all that needs to be found is evidence of unprofessional conduct as an attorney and he's disbarred. He doesn't need to be found guilty of a crime and go to prison for that.

I did my quarterly check in with Fox and Friends @7 to see how they are spinning this.

Interesting almost no coming down on Mueller for the so called "witch hunt". They played that part straight which means a good lie hasn't been formulated yet. Or Mueller has politically inoculated himself by not straying outside his investigative mandate, turning this over to SDNY.

What was their line of attack was Jeff Sessions. Came down on hard on him suggesting he be fired and replaced with someone who doesn't have to go through confirmation process.

Is there a loophole in the law for cabinet level appointments so they can be "slid" into a position if they have gone through a previous confirmation hearing?
