Yeah, so much for the GOP mantra of smaller federal government and more states rights.
Doesn’t apply when corporate profits can be increased.

Trump fans might get mad if all the porn streaming sites get dicked over by this. Then again, they'd probably be too stupid to put 2+2 together and figure it out.
God they are really really evil. There is no other word that works. Allowing ISPs to fuck with content is so dangerous that it infringes on free speech in my opinion. With these evil fucks loading up the Supreme Court to confirm these anti-free speech FCC rules, we are quickly becoming an extremely unfree country.
please donate to the EFF. this will need to be taken to court for sure.
and that one ISP is about to tier that shit up, hope you dont like streaming.
Do Republicans see what fraud their party is, now that "States rights" has been exposed as a bunch of BS?
No, because their news sources say this is a good thing, if they mention it at all.
The average Republican voter is completely oblivious. This shit should enrage them, they just shrug their shoulder. This in spite of the fact of the substantial material harm that is being done to them personally by this. Bewildering as all hell for me. If we could just get these people to fight for their own self-interests. The magnitude of what is being lost is impossible to exaggerate and we are going to lose it with a barely a whimper.
Your inane shit trolling got locked in the other thread, why stink up this one?President Obama on Monday nominated Democrat Jessica Rosenworcel and Republican Ajit Varadaraj Pai to the Federal Communications Commission, bringing relatively young but experienced telecom policy experts to an agency trying to redefine itself in the Internet age
As I've been saying, Trump is just continuing Obama's bullshit or more appropriately, Trump's cabinet is. Trump is likely sitting on his ass watching Faux news, and playing golf.

Nothing will stop it, but if it wakes someone up, it's worth posting. And this is going to stop implementation of the new FFC regulations how? Are you trying to sabotage resistance to the new FCC regulations or something? Get off this thread please.

Do people actually believe that other people on the internet are Russian Trolls!? Do you realize how crazy that sounds!?^^ Russian
As you recently announced, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), under your leadership, soon will release rules to dismantle your agency’s existing “net neutrality” protections under Title II of the Communications Act, which shield the public from anti-consumer behaviors of the giant cable companies that provide high-speed internet to most people. In today’s digital age, the rules that govern the operation and delivery of internet service to hundreds of millions of Americans are critical to the economic and social well-being of the nation. Yet the process the FCC has employed to consider potentially sweeping alterations to current net neutrality rules has been corrupted by the fraudulent use of Americans’ identities — and the FCC has been unwilling to assist my office in our efforts to investigate this unlawful activity.
Specifically, for six months my office has been investigating who perpetrated a massive scheme to corrupt the FCC’s notice and comment process through the misuse of enormous numbers of real New Yorkers’ and other Americans’ identities. Such conduct likely violates state law — yet the FCC has refused multiple requests for crucial evidence in its sole possession that is vital to permit that law enforcement investigation to proceed.

If you have an argument, then present it, otherwise kindly stfu.

Yep, they did that months ago. "Lost" a buttload of people submissions, then resubmitted with those users informationWell. This is concerning. The whole public comment process may have been corrupted and the FCC won't even consider it.

And the infuriating part is that the FCC is likely the one that corrupted it. Poisoning the well to get their way.Well. This is concerning. The whole public comment process may have been corrupted and the FCC won't even consider it.

Presidents always appoint members of the opposition party to seats on the FCC as by law, the split is always 3-2 between the two parties. If you think a different Republican appointee wouldn't be doing the same thing Pai is you're delusional.
It's shocking just how ignorant some people are of basic functions of government.
