it's just so typical that when a non-holiday holiday (the day after thanksgiving, christmas eve, new year's eve, etc) falls on a weekday, where management would be affected by having to come into work, they make sure it gets listed as an official company holiday so that everyone but a skeleton crew will have the day off.
but when they fall on a weekend, where only the data center techs and phone support guys get affected, of course it's not a holiday :|
