Eh, they have a NFM in Des Moines and Kansas City too.

Huge stores. Sell tons of TV's, etc as well as furniture.

Very true. A few years ago they had the best video game (think PS1 days) store in the state at the Omaha store. Also a great ad to pricematch.

As for the steak comment, yes we eat steak and it is absolutely delicious.

Sounds like R.C. Willey. They sell furniture for the most part but carry a lot of home electronics. (media for those electronics as well, mainly games and movies).

May get AOE3, but i am not going to do FEAR. I dl'ed the demo, within the first 2 minutes they used the "F" word in some lame scripted sequence with horrible acting. I guess the sophmoric programmers assumed they could spice up bad voice acting by using the o-so cool "F" word. Not for me gents. I've got young boys at home who need to keep their language clean, they don't need to see daddy playing a game with foul language.

There was a half furniture store and supermarket in Jersey near flemington. I dont recall the name but it was an interesting combination. It also sold hard to find video game stuff like items for the Atari 520st/1040st days.

But then I look at Target and Walmart here in NC and they are Supermarkets and Department stores so why not.

Yup the midwest has some of the most expensive real estate.
