Every day yields a new peak in ppd. Currently we are number 6 in team production, and only about 55mil per day away from 5th. Remove the default team and crypto teams and we’re number 3 and pushing toward number 2.

Jan 7th continues the trend of setting a new record daily since Christmas.
Daily Peak (1/7/2024):

We have picked up 10 people that hadn’t been folding for a while, which I love, and gives me something new to track, and a very admirable goal to beat.

Would love to get a bunch of our active users back - even if we just picked up people folding with older systems (say intel i5 9600K systems with 1660 Supers), getting 200 of our previous folders back for a new user peak would add up to 240mil ppd - a 33% increase in our current output. Since I haven't been with the team all THAT long, is there a list of active people we could ping to try to bring them back, even for a month?

On that part, I agree. However, the team has 4,363 inactive users. Those users were presumably interested in contributing to F@H at some point in the past, since they installed the client. Maybe 1% just need a little nudge to start again?

just wanted to throw out that with the 9am update today we've reached the half way point to last year's point record. Since we're continuing to set new daily highs every day, I'm going to go out on a limb and say we're going to beat last year's record somewhere on 1/16. Then it will just be all gravy from there for setting a new record.

As of the 9am update, we are around 30m points short of last year's point record - meaning that at the noon update we'll beat last year's point total. Good job team!

We seem to have finally plateaued in points per day, hanging out around 820 to 835 million points per day. Will there be another uptick in points when the Big ADV contest begins? We'll have to wait and see.
