F@H: Minor Issues

Hi, I've started to fold as part of the Anandtech Team (Go Anandtech!). Anyhow, I seem to have minor issues with it. Whenever I try to play games (i.e. Far Cry, WarCraft III, etc.) with F@H running in the background, it keeps throwing me back to the desktop (game is still running though). The only way to get around this is to turn off F@H before I play any game. However, it's annoying to have to turn it on / turn it off everytime I play a game; is there anyway around to this little annoyance?

Are you running the GUI or the CLI version?

I guess it's the GUI. I had some similar problems with it as well some versions ago before I switched to the CLI.

Yep, same issues with me too. I just run the CLI now, usually not an issue with that. It's like it takes the focus off the game.

I had the same problem once, I lowered my OC from 2.125 to 2.1 and the problem went away.

Mine does that occationally, but only when I start the game up. It never does it after that.

Is anyone having these problems with the CLI (console version)?

There are issues with some OpenGL drivers and the GUI.

My kids only have a problem when gaming if my "ask before connect" no-net computer finishes a WU when they are playing. The "ask before connect" box is an annoying little "always on top" thing.

(No issues with gaming while F@H is running as a service for me)
