F@H SMP client

I have a Q6600 OC to 3 GHz so I figured I would try F@H and was wondering when the SMP client downloads the workunit does it breakup that one workunit up and process it on all four cores or does it download four workunits and process one on each core.

Up to four cores/CPUs will work on ONE work unit.

This will speed up the scientific process by getting through each WU faster.

The process is serial in nature, WU #1 has to be finished before WU #2 can be created.

The regular clients' WUs deadline is weeks or months long, the SMPs' WUs deadline is only a few days long.

What used to take years will only take weeks to accomplish.

I installed the windows smp client on an E4400 @ 2.66 machine and it is using 4 processes.
I guess it is because of HTT.

This is a new learning exp for me since this is my first Intel build since a Celeron 500.
I am wondering if the SMP client will use 100% cpu load on a quad since it is using 4 processes on a dual core.

It will use 100% (full load) on a dual core and a quad core.
I'm running it on an X2 and a Quad core, and on both machines, 4 instances (exe's) are up and running.
The quad folds about 2-3 times quicker than my X2.
