It reads some files in the F @ H directory to show you some info. All the good stuff I told you about in the other thread.
From Settings you will need to Add your client(s) and give that client a friendly name. The .exe file of the GUI is named winFAH.exe.
On the general settings tab you will find a button to Update the project info. It gets this from Stanford. I think it is a special file that Stanford has just for these monitor programs with the info from the Project Summary page. You know about that already. It gets the WUs point value from here so that it can estimate your points per day. The GUI must finish a WU step before the monitor prog can read (from the log file) the time taken to do its estimate.
Whenever I want to see how the current WU is doing, I open the monitor. It can be left open and set to refresh its display as often as you want (from 1 min up to 5 hr).
