About 5 month ago I did my life insurance screening and it came back that my cholesterol was high. So much for the premium rate.
Went to the doctor a few weeks later to "interpret" the results and see where things stood and what could be done. Doc said, "Let's change diet, exercise a bit more and see what happens."
4 months later, 20 pounds lighter, my cholesterol is still ridiculous on both ends of the scale (HDL and LDL). After talking to my sister, turns out my family is predisposed to high cholesterol in general - she's a vegetarian ffs and still has high cholesterol.
Oh well, screwed is me. Look out Big Pharma, here my wallet comes! *sigh*
