Yes, revealing the contents of a private e-mail without permission is unethical. Now, once again, for reading-impaired trolls like Nick, this does not suggest or imply approval for Lewin's behavior. I'm simply saying the butt-hurt young Republican who publicized her private message was also in the wrong.Either way, she responded in an official matter using her university credentials and this is now public and exposed to everyone. It is kind of funny that you are suggesting that the person who exposed her bigotry is somehow unethical in their behavior.
That's a bit of a grey area. There's a big difference between an elected official and a college professor. Elected officials have far less expectation of privacy, especially in communications to constituents. If you contacted him in his role as an elected official, he'd have little right to expect his response to be private. If I sent an email to my senator for example expressing my opinion and they responded with FUCK OFF REPUBLICANS it would be unethical of me to make that information public? LOL.
Of course you don't really want a thoughtful answer to your question. You're just trolling.
Unlike you whiny Republican crybabies, I think "the left" is smart enough to understand that the action of one college professor reflects only on her, not the left as a whole. Of course they're also smart enough to know that her "Fuck you" wasn't an expression of bigotry, it was an expression of anger at something she found offensive. The left is butthurt by this because they true bigotry is being exposed. Unfortunately this woman isn't the exception, she's the NORM.
