Reviews up on few UK websites. Looking great so far.

holy crap that guardian reviewer doesn't know his ass from his elbow
So far I am loving the game. I finished 2nd in my first race in easy . I am playing with just corner assist with all other options turned off.
well, i wouldn't use a keyboard, so for me it's either a $30 controller or a $300 steering wheel. i'm not crazy about the price and i have nowhere to put the wheel on my couch, so i'll probably pass on a G27. my control with the sticks is getting better with practice.
yeah, so "decrypting" upon first run instead of just unlocking, then "fragmentation warning" (i have an ssd, so it makes no sense. i skipped) then installation, GFWL (is steam and a product key not enough to prove i paid money?) and then game menus from hell.
after your first few laps, the setting to turn off is Braking Assist. it goes from training wheels to rocket ship, and your driving should improve noticeably (because it has to).
i5 750, 4 gb ram, gtx275
1920x1080, ms8xaa, high settings
i forgot to run fraps
graphics are ok, very jaggy considering those settings. it can be very difficult to judge distances when trying to plant the front wheel on an apex. it doesn't seem i can get anything other than stereo sound out of this game, another console-related limitation i suspect.
Have you tried messing with rapture3D? Thats how you get surround sound in dirt2
F1 2010 sound uses OpenAL drivers for maximum compatibility, performance and quality on all versions of Windows. The Software option uses Creative Labs generic software mixer. This works on any DirectSound-compatible audio device, in stereo or 5.1 channel surround. It is fast but of
limited fidelity. The Hardware option suits X-Fi cards that support EAX5 high-quality Game Mode.
The default is the Rapture3D OpenAL driver from Blue Ripple Sound. On slow PCs this matches the quality of the old generic software driver, and on a modern quad core it can match or surpass the best hardware acceleration.

Any more first impressions? I'm probably picking this up for the PS3, but the console area doesn't have a thread on this game.. so I thought I'd ask here.
