here is a pdf about it:

here is a screenshot of a page from the pdf:

this was made when some hater suggested that it was meant to be used with a fish finder or something and not a pc.
i feel dumb because i found the cord on this website a few days ago:
http://www.a-nautical.com/cat-oceanpc.htm
and i can't find it now.. there was a link for cable and accessories or something.. i e-mailed "captain jim" and he hasn't written me back, maybe he saw that i was inquring about something he doesn't sell so he pulled the page.
ok.. the p2/2 cable is for the built in mouse which i have tested and it does work.
there are 2 other connectors.. an 8 pin one (black) and 4 pin one (yellow)
all pins combined and the outside grounds should be 14 pins.. is that enough to make a working vga signal?
ok.. so here are my questions.
- can this thing run off of a simple vga signal, i am talking about getting its power and everything (keep in mind that the 3 connectors on the back are the only ones on this whole unit)
- should i crack open the case to try to figure out how to make a cable, or make an educated guess as to what pins go where and start to try things until it works. (i think the 2nd option of potentially fry the thing)
so who has any ideas on where to start? should i crack the case and take more pics? i 0would hate to screw up the "nema 4" weather sealing.. or does anyone have an educated guess as to what pins would go where to make it work on a standard vga connection..
that's all for now.. i will try to leave this brief
edit, how do i imbed or insert or post or whatever the messages.. i tried to search for other posts explaining how, but couldn't find any.. i know it is possible though i saw a post with an image in it..
