FaD: Stats gone AWOL?

Take a look at the main FaD stats page here. It looks like a VERY large number of accounts are no longer listed there. Notably, Mondobyte and Old Fart are missing from the top 10. I don't keep track of the other ranks close enough to tell who else is missing, but my account also does not come up when I do a search on my user name...

This is what he posted about it on the Free-DC site.

The format of the text file from the find-a-drug page has lost two columns. I fixed that, but there is a dodgy entry in there too..

note the '(' in the middle of a field... it's causing the number to be somewhat wild!!

I'll put a temporary fix in for now.

Yeah, butch would be mighty happy to find out he scored his unix timestamp in points

I made a quick correction to mine around 4:30EST, I've just added a permanent fix, I just have to see how it affects the overall speed of the program, if it takes too big a hit (which it shouldn't) then I'll put it in,.

Dunno, he might be stripping it down to find the bug, I think at first he thought it was a data glitch, I would have agreed, but the file took a couple steps back, it was missing some ranking info, and it was unsorted, things I haven't seen in quite a while (and it messed up my top200 back then too)

Freewolf, most of us stats guys find a way of presenting the info, at least when it's there :roll: I think I have a permanent fix in place for this, (not just remove it, but to fix the entry) but I'm hesitant to put it in since it can have some rather odd outcomes, computers are good at looking for things, but they seriously lack recognition and the intelligence to correct a simple problem. so much for working on fun things :S

I don't think I'll bother... I don't have the time at the moment... I'll back up my database prior to running the daily roll, and if it's futzed, I'll just restore the database and try again in the morning.

Interestingly enough, my update at 8:50pm EST seemed to run okay... but it's not looking at the totals files, just the members, history, and teams files :roll:

The total csv was the one that borked out, I'm not comfortable with the automated fix I have in place, so I'll remove it, hopefully there are no issues, but not much I can do.

Oh, and the history file is AWOL for the midnight update.

Hmm...none of my machines have d/l'd the beta yet, I think maybe I'll uncheck 'beta test' for now
