Looks like we're about to get trampled by Ukraine The must have been doing some SERIOUS recruiting.

Now that the weather has turned a bit cooler, I should be able to bring a couple more systems online, but it's not going to help as much as we need

the 1.25c client has really increased my production in amount of work i can do per day. the drawback to that is that my points for large amounts of hits keep seeming to be dwindling....

Hi everyone,

I am ramping production up ... returning to previous levels ... and perhaps the flood will rise a bit further

On the personal side ... I have resolved the electric bill problems with the wife and am plunging ahead with adding more to the mob here at home. The count is now at 15 and should rise a bit more (maybe 1 or 2). However, some machines will see significant upgrades in processors, memory, etc. which should make very significant improvements in scores. I will be replacing a Pentium III 550 with a dual Pentium III Xeon 850. The PIII dual 850 is being upgraded to an Athlon 3000+ ...

s/b some interesting goings on in the mob as "hand-me-downs" get bounced down the line and the bottom of the barrel is "surplussed".

My plan is to supercede all sub 1gHz processors with > 1GhZ processors except for the dual 850 XEON. (it gets Debian 3.0 to put up incredibly wrong numbers of points ... to boost our scores) More later as reality replaces expectations.

Hope this helps to stave off contenders.

Just finished building a new system recently (specs in sig). It wont hold off Ukraine by itself, but it's many times more powerful than my PIII 666 system.

I predict we will lose 4'th place before the end of the day and maybe as early as the 2:00 PM update

The even better news is that Mondobyte submitted 16,000 points in the last six hours!!!

Let's pray that the Horde is at "ramming speed".

Mondobytes production is up to approx. 105,000 Points/Day. I think Mondobytes return, plus the additional power that the TeAm has been able to pull together should be enough to keep them at bay, or at least significantly slow their assault.

Well I will be the first to admit that my production dropped off rather sharply for the last week or so but I never "left" so what is this talk about a "return". I needed to get my hordes realigned and on course for the next rampage into the ranks of the major crunchers.

Now that the course is set ... the hordes are off pillaging for 6th place and above. Someday soon, I hope to be a "major cruncher" at FaD.

I'm just a beaumont, a joke, a wannabe major cruncher ... from where I sit in the cheap seats, Plum, Lauren, et al, sit in the primo seats ... I guess I will be a major cruncher when I dust off the residue of Hob in my rear view ...

yeah ... you probably will ... one foot in front of the other ... another computer here and there ... and you will be surprised how soon you will be challenging me and the best above me ...
