I pull the stats from http://stats.findadrug.org.uk/teams.php, which usually matches the main site.

If the numbers you are reffering to are the averages, I calc. my own. My calc. are not accurate when someone leaves/moves teams other than that I believe them to be accurate, diff in points/days. I am not sure how the averages on the FaD site are calc. but I have never been able to make sense of them. i.e.: I uploaded a whooper job worth, 40K Points, I have been crunching for 10 days and the daily average does not change...

Ross is right, tracking member movement is quite difficult to do gracefully, since the team the person left did lose X number of points, it will affect thier output, my stats pages compensate for people moving in the individual teams pages, but cannot cope with the movement On the teams pages ATM, computers are mindless drones, tho they do move the bits without question

Ross, On a side note, if you are using a script for teams.php you might want to change it to the teams1.php ... the teams.php will not be updated (It's obsolete)
there are some changes between the pages, tho not that hard to compensate for..

Thanx for the heads up. I have, and I believe yourself also, asked THINK many many times to direct us to what is the preferred source for custom stats but for some reason they never reply. I have been wanting to switch away from the http formatted pages to the csv files but have not found the cycles during the summer months. I am hoping in the fall I will make the move to the csv. On the csv front, I have been collecting them daily since June 24, 2004 so I have a decent amount of history for all users once I make the switch

That is what I'm using, all 3 that are available now (used to just be 2) It get's quite interesting, the program I wrote to use these is over 3000 lines of code... (not including all the other stuff which would make that total over 5000 lines)

The CSV is the preferred source, if you are automatically grabbing it tho, make sure you pull the header only, compare the date/time, if it's different then download it, otherwise 500k x amount of times is a lot of data/bandwidth)

I do not check the header, but only retrieve the files once a day @ 11:00 AM. I do grab all three, Teams, Members and Total.

Perhaps one day both my computers will get done working on a job and improve are stats....

My XP 2000+ has been on the same job for 667500 secs...so what is that....8 days now? and is only 72% done..
My XP 2400+ has been going for 350000 sexs and is 90% done.....

How I miss the RC5-64 days when even a pentium 200 could be used....

Those long jobs are where you get the big points. I had one take 12 days and had over 750 hits.

Total, Teams, and member?? Members is Total..

I keep a rolling 60 update history (Of total), no point in holding older... the other one is history, but it's more difficult to grab.. I also snag 2 pages from there to complete the info I need for mine.. (5 pages, 4 every update, 1 at midnight) tho that may change.

It is obvious I have been collecting these and never tried to use them.

From what I can understand Members is a complete list of all individual machines for each member and the last time each machine submitted results. I envisioned using this to easily identify machines which were MIA, in addition to showing the Country and Team Settings for each machine. Mostly troubleshooting info.

My understand of Totals is that it is a single entry per member and is the main input into stats.

One day I will put all of this to work and see if I can do something with them...

Hmm, I don't remember that file being mentioned, but that will replace a page I was pulling (or 2)

Thanks.
