Failed Hard Drive . . Time to try Data Recovery!!

Howdy folks,

I took apart my laptop to swap the motherboard and when I plugged my hard drive back in. It not detect any OS on the drive. I plugged it into my USB enclosure and it showed up blank. I have no idea what happend and have been trying multiple programs (freeware mostly) to try to see what I could recover . .still no dice. To name the programs: Recuva, EaseUS Data Recovery, and GetData Recovery. All of them were spitting out broken files and were un-viewable. I am all out of ideas . . and was hoping for any suggestions. Thanks in advance!

Is the drive making any strange sounds?


How long did it take getdataback to scan?


Try R-studio, you have to scan the volume you want to recover first, will provide best results.
