Why not? It's a reasonable question. If atheism is a true belief system or movement, who are the heroes? The people who made sacrifices with their blood sweat amd tears to show their passion and devotion to the belief of the non-existence of God?
Atheism isn't a belief system or movement, its the complete lack of either. You are basically assuming atheism in itself is a religion. To quote

EDIT: I'll go on to say you're not just a moron, you're a sexist moron. Basically you are saying that women can't be courageous. In reality, men can be both effeminate and courageous. It's possible some of your personal hero's were/are gay/bi men. Whats more effeminate than that?
