How the heck do you tell time with it?? I can figure out the 12, 3, 6, and 9 positions no problem, but everything else. I really like the styling though.

That's not even right. Did you not notice that it only has a single hand?

It's a single rotation watch. It only goes around once per day.

The description says each tick mark is is 15 minutes.

You wouldn't get the exact time with this watch, but you'd be within 15 minutes.

Oh didn't even notice that. Wow. That is really different and most people would have no idea how to read it at all. Kind of like wearing one of those crazy binary based watches which I always thought had the dorkiest styling. This at least looks like something I would like to wear.

Side note, really still pissed I missed out on the pip boy edition when they were first release by a few minutes when they sold out and not going to pay anywhere near the current price gouging prices on ebay for one. Hoping that someone doesn't pick one up from my local bestbuy and I can nab one that way after release.

PM me, I have a PS4 and PC on pre-order. Don't want/need both.

Fallout 4 is 20% off on GreeManGaming right now.

Voucher: SAVE20-NOVEMB-GAMING

If anyone is interested. Good thing I waited a bit, just bought it there myself. Just five days to go folks!

Well now! I'll have to check this out and see if it applies to us Canadians. I noticed the price on Steam has gone from $70 to $80C so I'm a little less than impressed, increasing my desire to hold out for the first sale, reviews, benchmarks, etc.

Then they released another promo video in the last couple days... making it hard to resist again.

I does apply to Canadians.

The Canadian dollar is very low lately, however. It's $48 U.S.D with the voucher, but that's roughly still $65 CAN or so, give or take a few dollars (I don't have my bookmark for currency converters). However, $65 is still considerably better than the current insane price on Steam (not saying it's abnormal, it's just a price that's the result of the weak Canadian dollar; it's still insane though, no one in the U.S. sane of mind would pay 80 of their dollars if our own would rule them and brought our situation on their lawns instead).

I, too, wanted to wait - at least - for a price reduction. I don't honestly care about the game's reviews, I know what to expect out of a Bethesda game and signed up for it in my mind long ago when I fell in love with Morrowind. I will endure all the stiff animations Fallout 4 can thrown at me, and all the vanilla-flavored bugs of Bethesda games if it means I'll be able to play another one of their fun exploration-based sandbox. And that 20% off from GMG was the only way I would buy it this soon.

How can people not know 24 hour clocks?!? It's actually more logical than repeating the hours twice in a day.

That watch is cool, but like humble its the first time I've seen a 24 hour watch.

I get the feeling this game is going to look better in action. Skyrim was beauty in atmosphere and from afare, but if you went in too close the textures were just bad. Still never stopped me from playing it a bunch. Fo3, don't even re!remember since I played it on ps3 on a tube TV, which looked fine. Some games just don't ever carry over right in screenshots, tw3 I felt did the same thing.

Either way pretty pumped for it and trying to avoid any serious spoilers.

I am with you on this. Graphics go a long way, however that being said...
I will take excellent gameplay + medium graphics over pretty + boring.

im well aware of what the 24 hour clock is, ive never seen a watch do it however

also its upside down, 0 should be at the top

I think the orientation works better that way because noon is facing up, midnight is facing down.

Though I guess it all depends if you prefer morning to be left or right, and opposite side for afternoon/night hours.

--It's like how race car drivers reorient their speedometers so that the needle points straight up at 120 (or whatever target speed). This is like high performance...watching?

I know what a 24 hour clock time cycle is as I've been in the military. I just didn't realize it was displaying the time with 1 hand though as that was the weird part to me. I also missed the part in the text about each ticket being 15 minute increments, which again through me off as not every tick has a label on the watch associated with it.

I will be most likely selling the CDKey that comes with my Pip Boy edition (don't think that CDKey gives you anything special?). If someone wants to buy it from me at a reasonable rate for a release day game, my inbox is open!

If you're wondering why I would do such a thing, it's because I prefer to play it on Xbox now, so I also have an Xbox + Season pass coming on release day. Just going to keep the rest of the CE stuff and put my Xbox disc in there.

why are people pre-ordering. There no benefit except for getting conned by more developers.

Received both of my codes too an hour ago. Gonna pop that in Steam when I get home in an hour!

Can't wait to fire this puppy up!
