Tried it, does not work. Also tried the setting it to -1 of my screen size, crashes the game.
Tried with and without the FOV changes too, bordered / borderless all the same results

Added it to all 3 ini, still did not make a difference.
Try limiting the fps to 75.

I had a quick play and had Fraps up, my hardware got detected for ultra settings(2500k OC to 4.4Ghz,Sapphire 280X OC Dual X,Win10 Pro x64,8GB ram).

I was getting 60 FPS for the most part, 45 FPS was lowest point for my 1080p gaming.
They could of made the character customisation better ie easier and more options.

I like it so far, still not sure if I spent my points wisely but did put 6 points in intelligence.
Anyway so early in the game I can always restart .

Yeah that's my biggest question mark when I level up, where do I put that point. I started the game with 3/4/4/4/5/4/4...pretty balanced but not sure how good/bad it is. The big struggle is where to put that damn point on level up. So far, only level 4, I put 1 in Lockpick and 1 in Hacker...the point left i'm still debating, probably will go on a stat, CHA or INT...

I feel like I'm probably screwing myself, but I'm level 7 and so far I've put all of my points into SPECIAL upgrades. I have Charisma and Intelligence maxed. Probably need to get lockpicking, hacking, and weapon damage upgraded next.

Beautiful game. I removed the FPS cap. Mostly run 50-80 FPS with the a drop to 40 here and there. 4790k @ 4.5ghz 16gb ram 290x 1080p

First time fallout player and I made it a little past the deathclaw. So far I'm having a blast for not having any idea about the FO series. Still learning how to do simple things but nothing a quick youtube video or a little searching for fixes. No bugs yet but I'm sure I'll run into them soon enough.

It's been a positive experience for me so far, about 2 hours in.

I left a few stats at 1, no difference only you can't get the perks. If you average everything you won't get the top end stats in one perk. I strongly recommend Aquaboy and the radiation resistance perks.

Anyone know how to remove bodies and other objects from the game world? (Not from inventory) I'm noticing the id codes of the bodies and other objects often do not show up. It's for if I want to hang out in a building as a home but don't like looking at bodies or some piece of equipment I don't want in there.

The id code is the numbers/letters that display when clicking the mouse on an object after the command line is brought up. I'm currently fiddling with commands like disable, markfordelete and zap

Anybody else seeing problems with the latest nVidia drivers? Anything from the 358.XX series gives a TDR within minutes when playing FO4 - haven't tested any other games yet. Reverting back to the last 355, I think ends in .91, solves it.

Running on a GTX860M with an i7 4700HQ and 16gb ram.

Edit: Well, apparently it's a problem with any driver newer than 355.91 and the 860m, period.

Edit: Never mind, I was standing too far away from the dead bodies when clicking for the ID code. Have to be right over the body to get the code to display.

Man, I must be the only one that's not too impressed... the lack of polish is evident. I'm trying to build my settlement and that barely works where it's putting roofs outside of building, I have floating doors, can't assign anyone to a station as it won't work, etc.

That's an issue everywhere, it seems like the game doesn't know which action you're trying to take. I'm trying to get my companion to attack but instead it started talking to him... I finally get it target'ed and hit to attack but instead it runs off in the other direction. And why it is that when you're talking to someone, it just pauses for 10-15 seconds... nothing happens then they finally start their script.

I'm sure the game will be great eventually, but it's not there right now.

I'll agree the settlement building is pretty bad, but I've not experienced the pause before dialog. There is a slight delay as the game zooms in or whatever but it's not 10 seconds. I don't use companions so I dunno about that one.

I'll be getting my copy tomorrow. I'm still not sure on a starting build. After playing it a bit are there any stats that seem more important than others? I heard charisma was pretty important so I'm thinking of starting:

S 3
P 3
E 4
C 7
I 4
A 5
L 2

I know a high intelligence will level up your character quicker but I figure there's enough for me to do in the game to get all the xp I need. I want it at 4 for the hacker perk. I'll up perception and endurance to 4/5 to unlock lockpicking and aquaboy but I think I'll be able to do without them for the first couple hours. Would there be any disadvantage to having 1 luck? The luck perks I want don't start until 6 so I probably won't even bother upping it past two.

If the engine holds true to pedigree (has been the same through Oblivion, FO3 and Skyrim, so 99% chance of it) if you select an object with the console open that reference is automatically passed to functions that you call.

The SOP for past Bethesda games has been that a world cell resets (clearing bodies, refreshing loot, etc.) after 3 in-game days pass without you visiting it.

I just figured out you can actually scrap ruined buildings for resources, this has helped me a lot.

I'm slowly getting into the crafting, repaired my power armour suit once I figured out how to get out of it lol .

I gotta say that while I do like Fallout 4 it is a bit underwhelming so far, I was kind of expecting more. It feels more like an upgraded addon to Fallout 3 with some ho-hum mediocre base building mechanics than a true sequel. There is just not much that has changed, in fact some stuff has gotten dumbed down. I hope things pick up but I'm not thinking they will, New Vegas is a better game.

According to the game guide this is true in FO4 also.

First bug encountered.

I rescued a lady from Raiders. She wont follow me back to her settlement. Just stands there and says dumb crap. No dialog wheel.

Some parts of Boston (the city) drop FPS heavily for some reason. Nothing really going on either and GPU usage isn't that high:

Bethesda has really nailed the exploration parts. There are STACKS of buildings in the city area to explore if you want to really build up XP (click twice on the image for full size):

Most of these sites will require a return if you haven't maxed out the science terminal perks or lockpicking too. Despite the graphics it is entertaining 15hrs or so in at Level 16. RAM usage is around 2.5GB with vRAM at 2.2GB after several hours.

I've run into issues several places even with a 980. For some reason scoped view also occasionally murders performance.

Loading too slow. I've got a 64GB solid state drive laying around somewhere in my junk boxes. I think I'll make it a dedicated Fallout 4 drive.
