Can you then trade with them, take off all the armor, and have them be able to carry tons more stuff? Because if so, Piper just signed up for an infinite lifetime of being in a empty Power Armor frame.Talk to them, point at power armor and the option to have them get in will be there.
I actually did run out early on. I thought I had 80 fusion cores. Turned out I had 80 fusion cells - important difference!I never take mine off. I have 14 cores and seem to get more all the time and don't run out. I have had to fix my armor multiple times but always wear it.
ED-E was my all-time favorite companion, but Nick Valentine comes close. Its too bad you cant get a robot like ED-E in NV. That little guy was a badass. I'm going to give Codsworth another shot for the Glowing Sea mission since he shouldnt be affected by radiation. Cait with some decent armor seems like she can hold her own. In the Towers mission she just ran around killing super mutants while I looted.
lol Have you noticed an abandoned tin can and found yourself walking toward it? I have. After I got the Minutemen General armor, I use this almost all the time, except when I need my Hazmat suit or to pick up a power armor in the waste land. I don't use power armor, but when I find one in wild, I have to pick one up and bring it back to my home base, as trophy. This game has worsen my compulsiveness to pick up junks, like desk fans and aluminum cans.
It is a good game, but there are some things that are really lacking in it. Once I finished it I wanted to try some more Fallout and have been playing FNV again. The differences are really obvious in where FO4 could be improved and what it's missing.
The amount of story and available quests are much higher in FNV than FO4. FO4 is mostly just exploration and tons of collecting with a little bit of sidequests thrown in and the main storyline. FNV has a lot more questing, but not as many areas to explore. The thing with FO4 is most of the game is just going into random buildings and looting stuff, with no story or quests attached to it. The main storyline is pretty short and there are not many sidequests.
It was a great game, but I think FNV is better. The graphics are not even that much different between FO4 and modded FNV, apart from the lighting, which is much better in FO4.

Damn 2 big fights in a row. 1st the Swan then some mirelurk queen in a building near Swan. Holy crap that was intense. And i feel like i got nothing useful out of either one.
It is... For someone playing as melee build.I thought thethat swan dropped was pretty coolpower fist(?)
Ran into this last night. Mine were just blasting each other too. I just waited until they were done then tried to talk to the live one.Charleston really makes my pc grind to a halt several times. Also saw the 2 Arts fighting each other. That was interesting. 1 of them died and when i tried to talk to the other he didnt want to talk.
So I Fired a Fatboy at a boss and this happened. It'll never ever happen again. Ever. Ever. Ever.

companions are so worthless in this game. if i give them power armor they'll just sit there and ruin it.
They attract some enemy fire which is useful in big fights. Not a lot of damage, but it does make them a better pack mule.
My problem at low level is finding adhesive.
