I like the rustic feel of the Fall Out game so sticking with an updated engine seems legit. Look at COD series -- still the same Quake engine but sells every year. Though I hate to compare it to such a shit game like it, you don't need bouncing people and frag festing to make it fun so it's not like the game engine is limiting. I do agree however I think the character models and lighting needs a little more humph in them. Though I do not expect or want Unreal like engine characters, I do not expect this day and age to see flat objects on people.

When I first heard that I laughed, there is no way you wont see a new Pip-Boy edition come out, maybe even in a bundle with the game of the year edition, there is just too much demand for them to not put it back in production.

I agree. I don't want to pay $60 for a game, full of annoying bugs, then pay additional fees for add-ons (DLCs).

Good point... apparently they did manage to produce (or just find) a small handful more which sold out in about a day.

That aside, Limited Edition games (that interested me) have rarely sold out so ridiculously fast. Even my short hesitation to spend such big bucks on a game was enough to miss out. I'll have to either cross my fingers for one in the future, a new manufacturer to produce the current design, or somehow make/order one on my own.

I may even scour the shops on opening day on the off-chance of getting lucky. Then to start making the rest of the jumpsuit.

I just pre-ordered the game and the season pass from GMG. I paid $20 for each SKYRIM DLC, so I'd rather pay $26 and get all four DLCs. I'm getting pretty excited for the game. I haven't played FO3, so it will be my first experience in the FO universe.

AFAIK, we'll get our Keys a few days beforehand from GMG, so we'll get a chance to preload on Steam.

EDIT: From GMG's website: "For pre-purchase games, you will not receive a key immediately at the point of pre-purchase, rather you will receive the key on the day of release (or a day or two beforehand dependant on the game publisher) We cannot guarantee that you'll be able to preload; however, we are in constant talks with the publisher to ensure keys are released as early as possible."

With all the hours I put in FO3, I never "beat" the main storyline.

I read that, but I'm not holding my breath. Being able to play immediately after the green light on launch day isn't going to happen for me, so simply day-of will suffice.

I will gladly pre-load if they send the keys to me early, though.

I've always received my key(s) a day or two before launch from GMG when I've pre-ordered new releases - I would be very surprised if you didn't receive a day or two before release.
