Yes, and yes. I went way back, about to the beginning, to get the "best" ending where all three other factions are at peace. It's been a very satisfying experience, and I've encountered things that I missed first time around. Med-Tek, for instance, is quite different if experienced with McCreedy than if simply happened upon. And I love the Atom Cats, which I completely missed first time around. So dumb question...
If I went with the BoS and blew up the Institute, is that effectively the end of the main story? Is it worth it to play back through and choose another side? I realize now I should have created a main save point so I could go back and re-choose if I wanted.
I was reading the Nuka-World description on Steam:
I hope I am wrong, but that really sounds like Nuka-World will be rather meh unless you're playing an evil character.Take a trip to Nuka-World, a vast amusement park now a lawless city of Raiders. Explore an all-new region with an open wasteland and park zones like Safari Adventure, Dry Rock Gulch, Kiddie Kingdom, and the Galactic Zone. Lead lethal gangs of Raiders and use them to conquer settlements, bending the Commonwealth to your will.
Also, I keep seeing people refer to this as the last DLC of THIS season. Is that correct? I thought it was the last DLC period, that Bethesda has already moved on to another game.
I really wish Bethesda would either contract a follow-up with Obsidian, or figure out a way to have worthwhile additional paid mod expansion pack content. Has to be something worth their time between nothing and "we do nothing and collect big bucks." I think the way they went about it last time would destroy the modding community and probably ruin the franchise. Yet there are so many ambitious modding projects started by talented people who simply run short of energy and free labor that I can't help but believe that some method of allowing them (and Bethesda) to cash in would help bring some of these to fruition.
