Family/shared wireless data plan

I would like to get on the Iphone or smartphone bandwagon but don't want to pay ~ $30.00 per plan per line.

I am with verizon and I know they don't offer anything like that. So any other decent carriers offer a shared data plan?

I'm in the same boat as you, seems like a pretty major shortcoming on their part to not offer one.

wow, If they are not offering this they are excluding all the families and teenagers. As a middle class parent I can't imagine paying for individual data plan plus monthly cost per line.

As it is I am paying close to 700/year for 3 lines. Now if I add $30 per line for data then that would be another ~1200.00 per year.

Yea he was mistaken but Sprint is the cheapest major carrier with good data speeds. Tmobile is cheap as well but their 3G is severly lacking.
