You are right. Only one other recipe tasted any better than the Light Wheat and it sure wasn't the pre-mixes.
While they may be convenient, they cost as much as the store bought and where is the savings in that? Additionally, as you mention (ok, implied) no pre-mix comes anywhere close to the taste or reliability of this recipe.
PS EC, I think it was a big mistake to bring a loaf of your home-made to mom...she is probably re-writing the will right now.
