Thank you, Hot Deals, for making me spend more money! ARGH!

Ordered one for me, one for my boss who wanted in, and one for Mother's day. Hehehe, I'm a good son. Thanks for the deal, I've been wanting high-quality headphones for a while now. GREAT price.

I recently bought a pair on crappy nike headphones for my laptop, but these sound like a fantastic set for a fantastic price. Unfortunately, I got too excited and didn't see Rab's entry on the free shipping code. Damn me and my compulsive shopping. But I can't be too disappointed, I got in on another deal and got a free 64Meg MuVo that's coming in the mail in the next couple of weeks, so I still win. Plus I'm getting another one in a couple of months! Great deal, if your a systems administrator and need to take some SUN classes
64Meg MuVo Mp3 player - If you can get your company to foot the bill for the class =)

Systemjockey, there were some problems with others using the code. Apparently it just wouldn't be recognized through Koss's (horrible!) checkout system. They called Koss, who straightened it out. If the $6 is worth your time, give that a shot! Good deal on the MuVo indeed! Hehehe.

i have the sony MDR-ED228LP ear buds (plugs) somewhere; the sound was pretty good but the insides of my ears would end up hurting after only 10 minutes of use, i've been using the sony clip-ons lately, i bet these koss ones will be much better.

These are great headphones, at $30. They don't sound dramatically different to me than the KSC-50s do, honestly. I also think the KSC-50s are more comfortable because they don't pinch my ear after extended use like my KSC-35s. Can't believe people are paying that much on ebay though - at that price point you could get the less balanced, but hotter Grado SR80.

Just got mine. I bought the $5 Radio Shack headphones last Thursday to replace the earbuds on my mp3 CD player, and then this deal came up and had to jump on it. While the Shack headphones were a great improvement from the buds, these Koss earphones are simply amazing. They handle the low power that the player delivers exceptionally well, and really are an exceptional pair for the money. Well worth it.

Most likely out of a cd player headphone jack. The Senns need a headphone amp to sound their best. Besides, the Senns aren't too portable either. You'll look like a jackass walking around with the Senns. Same goes for the Grado SR60/80. I always felt like the biggest geek using the SR60's for portable use.

I just got my pair.
The sound is really good, however I really dislike the earclips.
Compare to my Sony earclip, these look like cheap plastic sticks.

from what i've heard, "the plugs" have never been very good. they're nowhere near as good as the ksc-35s. frequency range doesn't really matter. or at least they're not the most important factor when choosing headphones

Unless you have bionic hearing you can't even hear 10Hz. 20Hz is the lowest most people can hear.

They are comfortable though, yes? How long did everyone wait for this item to arrive anyways?

I decide to sacrifice a bit of sound quality and stay with my Sony w.ear.

you're sacrificing a LOT of sound quality

and to Bot96,
they're quite comfortable if you put them on correctly

i dont check my mail everyday, but they arrived for me. Im not much of an audiophile, but they do sound good. They are comfortable compared to ear buds, but the plastic parts on the clips are a bit rough, im probably going to bust out some sandpaper on them.

What about using them plugged into a LiveDrive? Sennheiser or Koss?
