Fan controllers -- not so stylish?

Is it just me, or do most fan controllers look plain stupid? (excluding a handfull, that don't have the functionality I want)

I'm having a hell of a time trying to find a good lookin' and feature-packed one.

Something to go with this case and control 4 fans/save settings between reboots/no LED's (are LED's removable?)

I do feel your pain. I have a chieftec case that has a door that hides the drives, and most fan controllers with the functions that i want won't work because of the door.

it looks like that case has a drive bay door like mine. Would a fan controller with the normal knobs work with the door?

To reiterate(sp), can you remove LED's?

you should be able to remove the LEDs, I mean they did put them on. Just will depend on the difficulty of taking them off

It's not just you! I agree that most fan controllers look incredibly stupid! Ironically, the dumbest looking fan controller is one that is intended to compliment the Cooler Master Centurion 5, i.e., this awful thing.

Oh yeah I know, I'm just dissapointed with these looks.

Although I think the Centurion 5 is about the best looking case out (if it was white+black, not aluminum+black)

As for the LED's, I was thinking that, but I can't be sure... some fan controllers would look decent minus LED's

I like the Vantec Nexus series. Mine has LED's but they are hidden behing the drive bay door. The LED's are usefull so I can see what I'm doing.

Why would you get a fan controller to be stylish. I got it for its functionality.
