Im definately getting an OC rig setup here soon since my present specs are not up to par.
Athlon 1.33 ghz TBird ( Cooler master heatsink / fan )
ECS K7S5A
256 PC 2100
I am planning on getting this by selling all but the ram for 93$
AthlonXP 2100+ ( obviousily TBred B )
Thermalright SLK 900 ( the new one that can sue 92 mm fans )
Epox 8RDA
Cosair XMS DDR400 or DDR433
IM really looking forward to my next rig. I just dont know what fan or fans to run in my new rig. 1 st of all I want to OC to at least 2 ghz probaly 2.25 if 2.3. I know this can be done quite easily on air and I believe that the SLK 900 can get me there. However I dont know what fan to buy. Obviousily a delta super noisy fan could do it but its over 40dba's loud! Not exactly quiet. So I am wonder what fan has the power to get me all the way up to 2.3 ghz and not be super loud. I know 92mm helps out a lot. Should I get a loud fan and then control it? I guess I want a fan that is both quiet enough for me to stand but powerful enough to get me the 2.3ghz OC! Any suggestion and expierence would be helpful. Thank you!
