Fan(s) for my case

I have a maxtop case with two fans on it. here is the pictures of it Anyways I am thinking about getting a fan or 2. The one on the side is intake and the one on the top is blowing out. Should I put a fan on the back that is intake? What is a good cheap quite fan that I could use?

Heat rises. so you should always have exhaust fans on the back of the case, as close to the top as possible. Your intake fans should be low, preferably on the front bezel of the case.

I looked at the pics. Your case already has FOUR case fan cutouts! Two in front and two in the rear. You are set. Buy four 80mm fans, get some Panaflo L1As at Case-mod.com and install two in the front sucking air in from the front and two in the rear blowing air out. You're set.

can they pull air in and turn it around and they pull it out?

There is usually an arrow on the fan somewhere that will tell you the direction it will blow. You just flip it. Fans will blow in OR out. It's up to the direction you point them in.

if there is no arrow present, another way to find out which way it blows is by locating the label on the fan. On all fans, they show a label with the brandname and how many volts and amps. the side with the label on is the side that it will blow towards. so if you were reading the label in front of you, then the fan would blow towards you.

Very common case and heres mine, but i dont have a top fan.
Two fan slots back there.-Before i added the two fans back there my pc was crashing alot plus the side window sucked!

Best way of putting it for good flow and temps is

Slide is blowing in on compentes
Two back blowing out
And front none= because theres no way for air to get in on theses enermax cases.. well on most of them like this common case.


Aother pic- If you add to front case fans make them blow in and try to get some strong ones so they can blow in alot of air b/c the case has alittle part at the bottom which is usally cover by your carpet or wood floor leaving you with no way for air to get into the case.

I have ordered some of these they do come with the screws. They plug into the power supply with a pass through for another device. they also have another plug for spped control but I have not tried this.

the side with the stickeris the front. it blows that way. fans are reversible, so it doesn't matter.
