fans of (hot) tea?

i've been drinking hot tea for a couple years now, but have always drank the same kind. (yogi's revitalizing energy tea). but i'm looking to expand in that area of my life.

so, anyone here drink their tea hot? or does everyone here drink coffee??

Love English Breakfast tea hot instead of coffee once in awhile.

Also love a nice cup of Earl Grey hot after dinner.

i would hesitate to call what you drink a real tea; anything that needs a new age label to sell is dodgy in my book.

Tea's good, but I much prefer coffee. My stock black teas are Irish breakfast and Earl Grey. Everything else is a mix of stuff I think look good.

I only drink coffee for the kick in the morning, I drink tea the rest of the time.

I'm a big fan of any number of Oolong teas, hard to go wrong just picking one and trying it.

For black teas I like Yunnan Gold, Darjeeling and Assam the best.

Green tea: anything sencha. Green tea is much more subtle and less forgiving to brew. I generally would rather have a good oolong (somewhere between green and black).

In the evenings I tend to drink rooibos (red) tea or perhaps a decaf black tea.

Just try to find some good black teas to start and stay away from Teavana's overpriced stuff. Peruse Republic of Tea, Arbor Tea, etc. for a good selection of affordable teas and go nuts. Try to get full loose leaf tea if you can, the quality is far superior to bagged tea.

I've always hated even the smell of black tea. It almost makes me nauseous. No iced tea, either, no matter how much sugar is dumped into it.

But I do enjoy herbal teas.

I mainly drink coffee, but cannot handle the caffeine after late morning or I will not sleep. I drink tea at night. There was a thread a few years ago that inspired me to try brewing loose teas. I got a green tea sampler pack, and ended up with two that I liked: Cherry Rose Kyoto Sencha and Mao Jian Green tea.

Honestly, I haven't been drinking as much and just use black tea bags lately.

Always been a tea drinker. Don't like coffee. I drink English Breakfast most mornings. That's my go to. Usually get it loose leaf from Teavana or David's Tea.

There's a lemon black tea David's Tea sells that really nice in the summer.

I've always had a strong dislike for tea. Just never could get used to the taste of it, especially sweet tea or iced tea.

But this lady I work with gave me a sample of her favorite tea not too long ago, and I absolutely love it! It is so good! It is the Hot Cinnamon Spice made by Harney & Sons. I have been drinking it regularly for a couple months and I might just branch out and try some different types in the future.

Currently, Mighty Leaf Camomile Citrus Tea is my go to after dinner tea.

Though, my all time favorite tea was the Jasmine that I used to buy when I lived in Okinawa. When it was in season, you could get it from the open markets off of Moromi Street. Twelve cents for a stick of tea bigger than your fist. Wrapped with paper across the middle. Amazing fragrance with flowers hanging out of both ends.

That's a good one. I have to be in the right mood for it, but that's one of my go-to teas.
