These huge DLPs are always so tempting.
Agreed. If my big LCD ever dies, I'll probably go for one of these - they could be as cheap as a repair.

I've never heard of/bought from that merchant or this one but the same model appears to be $1,235.82 here:

This one is a 73833 instead of a 73737. It's going for $1,153,03:

A link on their site sends you to BBB where you can see an A+ rating; looks legit but who knows. I guess you are protected with a credit card purchase anyway.
Free shipping and likely no tax outside of FL.
I would not purchase from there. No ratings on resellerratings.com and looking up both models their prices are very far off like 1k or more off from other reputable etailers. There is a reason it is listed cheap and I do not want to find out why.

6 days old as tempting as the price is I would wait.
They also dont appear to know much about websites using full sized images just scaled to smaller sizes instead of a resized image so thier pages load slow.

I was originally interested in the WD73737, but got tired of waiting for it to go on sale. I decided instead to go with the the Costco WD73C9 instead. On a feature-by-feature basis, the deep black picture enhancement and USB viewing features were the only upgrades, and they didn't seem to justify the hundreds of dollars. I haven't bought the kit yet, but it is 3D ready just like the higher end models, and fully supports HDMI CEC, for automatic control of compatible devices with the existing remote.
Costco B&M as of last check still had it for $1799 with the $300 stand included and the traditional 2-Year complimentary coverage. The real bonus was that a simultaneous purchase of a new DirecTV installation will net you $250 of Costco cash cards (albeit 12 weeks later), bringing the net down to $1549. They were running an additional $100 visa gift car holiday promotion when I got it, so the whole set ended up being $1449. I do not regret it at all.
