Fantasy Football: Who should i keep Deuce or Shaun??

im in a keeper league with a bunch of friends and i need to turn in my keepers Friday

im already keeping Daunte Culpepper and Joe Horn or maybe Amani Toomer??

im only allowed to keep 3 player 1 per position

so should i keep Deuce McAllister or Shaun Alexander
standard scoring and yardage league also gets 1 pt per reception

That's a tough one. Very close. Both play behind solid offensive lines. Both guys score lots of TDs. And both teams had bad defenses last year that limited their chances.

McCallister is the better athlete. He has a more explosive offense around him. His QB is better. And his defense is probably the better one now. But he plays in a much tougher division defensively and has a tougher schedule overall. Plus, they nosedived down the stretch last year.

Alexander has the better schedule. His team is on the rise (really played well the stretch last year) and plays in a weak division. If it were me, I'd take a chance on Alexander.

Deuce is younger and more athletic then Shaun Alexander, Deuce is a good back who will gain more yards because of more experience.

Can you make any trades? Two very valuable commodities. I've got them ranked 6th & 7th overall on my draft board, so it's tough.

nope i cant trade

i was pretty sure i was gonna take Deuce but i think Shaun will play better this year
and he has worked out all off season to get in2 better shape which is always good

I would take Alexander, he's set for a big season. Duece is a stud too, but I suspect it will come down to the QB situation in New Orleans -- Aaron Brooks's passing is not going to scare the "D" into giving Duece a lot of running room. Late last season you pretty much got a preview of what things will look like this year for New Orleans. Defenses are basically stacking up against the run, playing with a spy, and challenging Aaron to beat them........ Take Alexander.

Seattles offense is going to be good this year. Alexander, no doubt.
