Normally a no brainer right, seeing how Portis is a top rusher.

However - this week, Portis @ Baltimore, listed as probable and won't practice all week, but says he'll play, likely game time decision

Chester Taylor (although a backup to Peterson) is playing the Lions. He figures to get some carries in garbage time in and around the goal line and is not hurt.

What to do?
My other RBs, who I'm already playing (we have 3 RB spots) are Frank Gore and Lendale White

Well lendale is golden for you, and gore shouldnt do terrible. I take it since you are asking there are no other options at rb for you?

Im not sure. POrtis at half speed is probably better than taylor, but If there is a chance portis wont play at all, it may be a safer bet to go with taylor and get some points on the board at least.

and portis is going at baltimore too.

based on the Lions running D (non-existent) I'd have to recommend Taylor. especially since Portis might not be 100% and Baltimore has some semblance of running D.

any RB vs. the Lions is a good play IMO

I would go Taylor. Portis might not even be played and if he is, it'll be against the nasty Raven's run D.
