Good point on these 2. However, I wasn't thinking along these terms. I was thinking along the lines of a game that ridicules (as the cover of the game implies) the ones the player is tasked with killing in various cathartic, entertaining, self-validating ways. As to the people who are complaining about it? It's life; get a thicker skin. Raising a fuss will only make some want to play it all the more - having the opposite effect than what was intended.
