Nice, I have the b6 oled. After seeing this though I feel tempted to connect my pc to the tv but will most likely have to go through the hassle of setting it up only to reconnect it back to my monitor in the morning. But one thing is for certain the picture quality is amazing on these sets.

How is the input lag? It is really bad on my friend's Lg OLED 4k.

That does look very nice. So you connected your computer to a TV? What TV are you using?

It's not bad in "game mode" on my 2017 model. They also support 1080p at 120hz which is more interesting to me than 4k 60

How do you have your keyboard and mouse setup if you don't mind me asking? That was always the hard compromise I found when trying to game on a projector.

I used a PS4 dual shock 4 controller via Bluetooth in Far Cry 5 as Steam supports it.

I didn't notice much lag. Game mode gets it to around 21ms.

Are you sure the 2017 models support 1080p at 120hz? I am almost positive that they only support 1080p at 75hz.

I guarantee they support 1080p 120hz but there is a problem running HDR at that refresh rate. Gotta go down to 60hz or you get a washed out picture in HDR. I have the LG B7A OLED which is the same panel as the C7. 24ms input lag across all resolutions both in HDR and SDR. I run a Dolby Atmos 5.1.2 setup from my PC to my TV when I play games. It's really nice.

I’m not aware of anything like that. Nvidia’s big format displays will be 120hz unless you have a link to say otherwise. Also the quality of the panel is suspect with low zone count for the FALD. That means lots of blooming and other issues. I also read the black levels are not that great.

120hz is fine tbh. But yeah, I am NOT going to be an early adopter...

Honestly I think OLED is a better bet if you want a big display for gaming. Obviously not anything super competitive where you need single digit lag times.

OLED picture quality is just unparalleled - for me, this is one of the biggest wow factors.

4k OLED with higher refresh rates would be nice.

Have they announced pricing or a release date on these yet? What an insane gaming offering, I want one

Early reports are the panels have poor uniformity and not very good black levels. Local dimming control is limited too.

To answer your question no, as of yet there is no further info on price and release.

I have beaten Radiance and Nightmare King Grim (though not Coliseum of Fools yet ) in Hollow Knight, and have also finished Cuphead in standard difficulty on OLED E6. These games and boss battles require incredibly precise timing. Both games look fantastic on these OLED TVs and play fine as well, as far as input lag is concerned. You do have to enable the game-mode.

By the way, for HDR games, I'd also recommend Battlefront 2. It looks astoundingly good most of the times.

Obviously it's impossible to see how good it looks in the SDR photos, but there's no doubt that HDR gaming is incredible. I've been playing a little bit of Ghost Recon Wildlands on the XboneX on my 65" X930E and the brightness of the sun in the sky is sometimes too much and I have to squint or look away. Destiny 2 HDR on PC is also very dramatic-looking compared to SDR, however my biggest gripe is that they still apply scene-based rendered-HDR when playing in HDR10 mode, making for an even weirder transition between dark and light areas.

Have any of you OLED gamers noticed any image retention, temporary or permanent, on your sets?
I just got a C7 and I'm somewhat hesitant to do any gaming on it for fear of image burn in, which is not covered by the LG warranty apparently.

Had a B7 for a few months now and probably 200 hours of gaming with zero problems. I have 781 hours on my panel. If you vary your content enough you will be fine. What I mean is don’t pause a game there for hours and come back. Switch to a movie or show and avoid long hours of content with static logos. For example don’t turn on the news and leave it all day. Most games have enough going on between cut scenes, loading screens, and lobbies that you won’t have long enough to have a portion of the HUD or a life bar cause problems. Most of the issues I’ve seen are from people either watching news for 8 hours a day and the logo burns in or very high OLED light setting with static content. There are a lot of people on AVS Forum who don’t have problems with these TVs and they have owned them longer than I have had mine. The key seems to turn off the tv when you are not watching it and take the precautions I mentioned above. Use the sleep timer, don’t fall asleep with something sitting on the screen all night.
