9600 XT owners should be able to function with at least the Level 3s at medium. Might want to invest it all in Environmental Quality though, because stuff changing and popping up is distracting and annoying, and everything on low still looks better than Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. Many glitches here. Weapons disappearing and textures flickering is not cool to look at.
I play it at 1280x960; 100Hz; 2x AA; 4x AF; Performance; All Level 3s on medium; Environmental Quality on medium; Shadow Quality on medium; Dolby 5.1; EAX; High Sound Quality.
I get about 30 to 60 fps outdoors, usually around the 40s and 60 to 112 indoors, usually around 80s. Them outdoor levels and the especially the jungle stress the system. In this game, 256MB of VRAM is definitely a must to turn almost everything to the highest, no one listened, but now they will see.
Hey check it out, I'm Golden.
