You have to wait for your character to tell the guy to hurry up.

After the guy replies that he is trying, pause it for 2mins.

Works everytime for me.

I'm getting 30 on average @ 1280x1024, all settings maxed, 8x AF on my first computer. Basically, I've tried AA thru in-game controls and it don't work there either. The game either locks up the computer or all the graphics get messed up in ways I've never seen before... This on an ATI card.

If you try to set AA from inside the game you'll experience severe corruption. I forced it from d3d Omegas control panel and everything's working fine

First game in awhile to bring my PC to tears.

1280x1024, 4aa, 6ans, everything set to high except shadows and particles.

Its playable, but not enjoyable.




But it has convinced me to buy the Nv40

bit late i know..........jus got the game

im not impressed.......takes ages to load, i noticed the AI have the exact same conversation every two mins, and the actual map looks like it came from toy story......it looks fake and is over-colourfull, and has a lot of jaggies

the game set every thing to medium for my setup and i get 60fps............if i look away from the island.........15fps if i look at it.........its border line and too choppy for me. thats another thing the water effect ,while nice, are abit shabby on the shore, and a bit too clear so clear that there is no definition to the horizon...the water and sky jus seem to merge again gives u the feeling ur in a fake world where only this island exists..........havent had chance to play against the AI not that i can when fps gets down to etcha sketch levels it runs worse than halo at the same res and i had that on full and ps2 enabled (1024x768)

i have a 9500pro, 512 ram and a xp2000 at 2200 speed

Yep... So severe, in fact, that the first time it caused the GPU to stop responding, then caused the PC to just restart out of nowhere. I've also heard that the Omegas are faster, so maybe a switch is in my future...

Man I don't wanna seem arrogant, but in order to experience this game, you need a better gpu
Maybe it's the only game so far that makes my gpu(9800pro) depreciate and justify every cent I have spent on it..
This is a game that fulfills our expectations when we upgrade, and we are waiting to see something groundbreaking and earthshaking at least to gaming sector.
Of course this is your opinion, but it seems a little peculiar especially when you're reffering to the graphics of this game.
I mean .. Come on ...
