I haven't done OfficeMax rebates in a while, but these rebates that they have advertised are kind of confusing. They don't correspond to the correct sale dates in which the items were advertised. These items were advertised in the 10/26 flyer.

For example...

* Belkin PCI NIC. OM rebate indicates buy between 10/19-10/25 for contigious United States. Belkin rebate indicates 10/19-10/25.
* HP 2"x4" Shipping Labels. The only rebate form I could find for this indicates valid only for 10/19-10/25.

Unless I can find an updated rebate form for these two items, I am not taking the chance going through with this. Anyone have any online rebate forms which will definatively define the correct purchase dates? Thanks.

every time OM has these rebate deals the old rebate usually updates within a day, so don't worry about it

Be careful with iConcepts/SAKAR rebates when easierrebates is involved. I'm still fighting for one from August. The problem is with easierrebates. I've had to call, fax, and email on 8 out of 8 rebates with them; that's 100% problems with easierrebates. Seven have finally been resolved and the last one is iConcepts/SAKAR. Do a search on here and FW for easierrebates and draw your own conclusions. If you do have probelms, involve the manufacturer and OM; enough complaints and easierrebates will no longer be a problem.

Every Sakar rebate I have sent in has come in a timely manner. I've also never had a problem with easierrebates; however, I have seen a lot of other people complaining about OM rebate. I guess it varries from person to person. Hope mine come! <fingers crossed>.

I went for the keyboard, which I hope isn't a P.O.S. I just needed something to bump my USB drive order up to $50.

Sakar iConcepts "Limit ONE rebate per person, receipt, household, family, address, or purchaser per item."
That sounds ok until you notice that you might be limited to one rebate per receipt.
I would like to buy the keyboard, mouse, and gel-pad on one order, but think Sakar/iConcepts might only pay up on one item. I have received other Sakar rebates ok.

Anyone get paid multiple Sakar rebates from one receipt and one submitted form?

I talked to the OM store manager the day I bought the stuff, and he said I should use the forms with the wrong date, and he'll reimburse me if it gets rejected.
Yesterday I was informed that they got rejected! So I'm just waiting for their postcard and then will head to the store again.
Seems there is no away to avoid that hassle.....

Well at least the manager was nice enough to reimburse you. Of course, they should have updated the site with valid, corrected rebates.

This doesn't seem right in the least. S/he could completely refuse to "remember" such and agreement.
