Farberware?s Classic cookware is aptly named for its traditional style that complements any kitchen decor. This 9-piece set offers a grouping of essential pans at a great value. The set includes 1-quart and 2-quart covered saucepans, 8-inch and 10-inch nonstick skillets, a 5-quart covered Dutch oven, and an extra straining lid that locks onto the Dutch oven. The straining lid has two holes sizes; the larger is ideal for draining lasagne noodles, corn on the cob, or potatoes while the smaller holes are better for draining angel hair pasta or rice.
Farberware Classic cookware is constructed of gleaming 18/10 stainless steel for a timeless appearance and has an aluminum disk encapsulated in the base of each pan to spread heat evenly without hot spots. Phenolic plastic handles stay cool on the stovetop and are oven-safe to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. This cookware is dishwasher-safe and is covered by a lifetime limited warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

QUALITY BARGAIN, July 11, 2003

Cooking, is not my thing, but most have to, and if you do, this
fairly complete set, will be a pleasure to use and care for.
A high light of this set was The lid with holes for draining pasta, and such, included with the dutch oven. I had considered a tv ad purchase on this for twenty bucks...I am glad I waited.
Amazon.com knows how to put a bargain together. No one beats their cookware sale prices. Thanks to that, I am able to have good quality cookware, that I wouldn't ever consider purchasing at regular sale prices.

farberware stands the test of time, February 16, 2003

I have had Farberware pots and pans for over 30 years. They never stick, burn, clean up well (and easily) and still look new after all these years. I am looking forward to ordering this new pasta pot edition. I use the 1 and 2 quart pans on a regular basis and can definitely use a few more. Can't wait to try this pasta pot.
