We moved back to the PNW for the green and the trees...but this pisses me off.

DirecTV was just here to install service...I WANT the Sunday Ticket package!

Can't install. There's ONE fucking tree on the street behind me that's too tall and interferes with the satellite signal.
The guy "measured" with his optical chingadera from all over the back yard...and nope. Can't do it. (HOA rules say no satellite dishes visible from the street...and I agree with that.) :\
They're gonna send a supervisor out to give a second opinion...and look at the problem with a different set of eyes...but I suspect he's gonna say the same thing.
We currently have Wave Broadband...and it sucks.

You can still probably do the DirecTV Sunday Ticket web access and stream it over the internet. They had tons of server crashes last weekend from the number of people trying to stream content....hard to say if they've fixed it yet.

Look to see if you can mount the dish on the back of your house or somewhere on your roof that's inconspicuous. There might be a way to miss that tree if you can find a place at the right angle that's not visible from the street.
