I've a huge amount of sympathy for her and her family regardless of what the pilot told her or failed to tell her. That's a horrific accident, and probably easier than we think in the dark.

Here's hoping that she suffered no serious brain injury and that the doctors can fix her up. She was a very attractive girl, but also seems to have been more than just a vacuous pretty blond.
