Bojangles is very region specific. I've never seen a bojangles store. From their website, the closest one to Kansas is in Tennessee. That's not a national chain if its a couple states away...
In fact, the furthest west they go is Mississippi. so yeah, not a national chain. Very region specific.

yep, the closest one to me is located in MS. Might have to hit it up in a few weeks when I take my tour of the South.

KFC, although they used to be more greasy. We don't eat out unhealthily that often, but when I do, I want to splurge on grease!

It's either KFC or local non chain in the UK. I prefer local but KFC stuff is good. Their Zinger stuff should be renamed stinger for what it feels like the morning after.

I had some and agree they were decent. The dipping sauces they had were basically the same as their McNuggets around here.

My only gripe was the price point. I want to say they were about $1/wing. Had they come in a little cheaper, I would have probably ordered them beyond that first time.

Never been to Churches or Popeye's. I think I should try popeyes, but I've never seen a Churches in an area I felt comfortable stopping my vehicle so fuck that

I'm literally the opposite of you. This past weekend I was driving through a new city when I saw a fried chicken place with black people lined up outside the door and some sketchy looking people loitering or begging in the parking lot. I could not wait to u-turn back into that place. It's like going to a pho place packed with only Vietnamese or a Mexican restaurant where they don't even bother with an English menu. You know it has to be real good.

I have eaten at KFC, Church's and Popeye's and also Bojangles. I would tend to go to KFC as I find it better than Bo's, but the other two just are not around me. In fact, it is a drive to have to go to any place for chicken of this nature. And by drive I mean the departure to return home time so I can eat in my home is like 45 minutes.

Popeye's kind of sucks now. I remember eating at one about 20 years ago in Washington DC. It was awesome (spicy chicken, red beans and rice, fried okra). They finally opened one in my town this past year and the chicken isn't as good nor the sides. Definitely gone downhill since the 90s.

I stick with KFC or Church's.

Popeye's is probably the best, but only if you get spicy. Their regular chicken is bland and disgusting. KFC isn't very good either. Churches is okay, but only because it is cheap.

Our options for fast food chicken around here is Popeye's, KFC or grocery store. Of those, Popeye's would be my first choice followed by any of the grocery stores and KFC a last resort.

+1
YMMV but I've had better fried chicken from a Krogers than KFC.

(I honestly don't know how people can eat KFC more than 2x a year)

Of those:

Churches, Popeyes....stuff, horseshit, KFC

the real answer: Bojangles > all

Anyone ever had raising cane's? I think its only in the vegas area though. But it is decidedly better than all of these places. I declare it.

There's a few here in AZ. I prefer Chick-Fil-A's chicken, but Cane has garlic bread and better tea. And you get more food for the price.

I know Raising Cane's is in LA (the state), only because I had a friend in the military get out and go back to working there.

I like Popeye's better. KFC chicken is more dry, way more salty and you can't get it spicy. KFC has better cole slaw though than Popeye's IMO.

Popeye's is the best place near where I live. Outside my town, Raising Cane's has the best chicken fingers I've ever had.

I've got a couple near me in Nebraska. Love their chicken but it's hard not to drag the dude through the window when they short me on sauce.
