I don't think that conservatives by and large have a problem paying taxes or in submitting to government's reasonable authority. Our problem is when government wants more than we think is government's due, either in money or in power. We accept government's right to set speed limits; we do not accept government's right to set sugary soda size limits. We accept that government is due a tithe, the same as the church; we do not accept that government is due double or triple the tithe so that it can hand out "free" goodies. We accept that government should set a minimum wage to control how deeply in poverty is someone who works at a low value job; we do not accept that government should set a minimum wage to establish a middle class lifestyle for every job.
Frankly I'm not seeing the contradiction here.
$9-$15 is enough for middle class lifestyle? Lol!
