I've noticed that the i3-4150 which runs at 3.5GHz is less expensive that the i3-4130 which is slightly slower at 3.4GHz. Would it have anything to do with the fact they use different sockets? Can anyone explain this please?
They are the same socket. The 4150 is meant to replace the 4130. If the 4150 is cheaper it is because it is fresher and more active in the market. The 4130 is meant to be gone. It is unofficially obsolete.
